Tips On How To Deliver The Best Proposal Ever – Melbourne DJ Tips

Blog written by Melbourne DJ Matt

Making the ultimate romantic gesture can be challenging for some. There are questions swirling inside anyone’s mind who wants to deliver the perfect proposal that will make their partner’s heart melt. You can perform a grand gesture that basically announces to the world in true movie style or you can go simple and personal.

In fact, it actually depends on your partner. You have to know what they like. Not everyone has loads of creativity and romantic style when it comes to asking ‘The Question’.

Here’s a piece of advice. Many want to have a fairy tale wedding and in order to succeed, you need to deliver the ultimate proposal that could rival any romantic movies. How to do that? Here are simple tips that could actually help you out.

1. Prepare the ring.

This is the key to your planned proposal and it’s also the tricky one especially if you plan to surprise your other half. How to get the perfect engagement ring? How will you know what design they prefer? What is their ring size? A lot of questions, yes. But hey, it will all be worth it once you see the reaction to the ring you choose. A little help from family and friends will also do the trick.

2. Plan the venue.

Where do you want to ask ‘The Question’? Some prefer a romantic candlelit dinner. This is a classic set up that is perfect for many couples. Others, however, might like it more personalised – like choosing the place where both of you first met. Or maybe you can find a new place where you can make new memories together. Melbourne is known for romantic destinations. Search for a nice restaurant or venue that could be the ideal place for your proposal. Wherever the location is, you should be well prepared on how to use it to your advantage.

3. Do it solo or get help from family and friends.

Admit it, this is nerve-wracking. Planning a grand proposal will make you giddy and nervous. Why not ask help from friends and family on how to deliver your best proposal ever. Two heads are better than one right? Or in this case, many heads are better than one. But if you plan to do it on your own, then that’s fine too. As long as you do it from the bottom of your heart, then you’re good to go.

4. The speech.

Love declarations and proposal combined? Who doesn’t love that?! It’s great to see someone express their love and vulnerability. It will make them feel special and lucky to have you, especially if they are sucker for romantic speeches. Make them feel loved, like they are your whole world. Make them the happiest person in the world.

5. Be creative.

As I’ve previously mentioned before, you could search the Internet and of watch romantic movies or even proposal videos on YouTube for ideas. There are a lot of ways on how to achieve their ‘Yes’. You could go for a traditional proposal; get down on one knee with the ring in hand. Or you could explore ideas like a hot air balloon proposal, roses in bed, or video proposals. Some people even propose in the centre of football fields! There are plenty of other things that could be appropriate for a romantic gesture.

The key here is BE CREATIVE. BE BOLD. BE ROMANTIC. There is always this one person that you’re destined to be with forever. And everyone wants to make ‘THE PROPOSAL’ so special and memorable that you will tell your grandkids about it in the future.
