Wedding DJ Yarra Valley 1987 Most Requested Songs

Wedding DJ Yarra Valley 1987 Most Requested Songs

1987 was the year for some of my favourite 80’s songs which include “Run to Paradise” by the Choirboys, “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi, “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston.

When it comes to dance time at a wedding reception, you could play any of the songs at my Wedding DJ Yarra Valley 1987 Most Requested Songs blog and have a full dance floor.

“The Final Countdown” by Europe is often requested as the last song or used in what they called a leaving circle. The Leaving Circle is where all the guests form a circle around the dance floor. The bride and groom stand in the middle. Once the music starts playing, the newlyweds go around the circle in opposite directions saying goodbye to all of the guests that attended their wedding. The leaving circle requires about two songs to complete with a third song as a backup for couples who take longer.

Did You Know:

Kylie Minogue on her best-of album had 63 singles that charted and eight promotional singles. “The Loco-Motion” by Kylie Minogue spent seven weeks on the Australian singles charts and was the highest-selling single in the ’80s. Kylie Minogue started her career as an actor on the Australian hit Show called Neighbours, an Australian soap opera that is shown weeknights on channel 10.
