Riverstone Estate DJ Creates Amazing Wedding Vibe

A great DJ has the ability to respond and adapt to the crowd and setting. It’s a skill to create a musical mood with something for everyone, and at this wedding Matt Jefferies, Riverstone Estate DJ was an expert.
Riverstone Estate is a spectacular place to wed. The bride arrived in an elegant ride from Carwood wedding car hire. She carried a gorgeous bouquet by Desflora and the couple were married by the lovely celebrant, Lisa Newman. When it was time to cut the cake by Slice Cakes the DJ played ‘Eyes on You’ by Chase Rice.
A favourite moment in the day was the couple’s first dance, which was to Thomas Rhett’s ‘Die a happy man’. So much of the music had personal meaning for the couple and their guests. Following the bride’s dance with her Dad, a remembrance song was played for the groom’s father. It was a Phil Collins classic and gives you goosebumps just thinking about it. The entire evening was punctuated by special moments to personally chosen tunes. It made for an incredibly memorable night and demonstrates the importance of great communication with the DJ.
When it was time for dancing the music covered the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and even R & B. Instead of the traditional bouquet toss, there was a conga line that danced its way from inside to the outdoor balcony. Maracas were given out as a fun, interactive way to rouse the crowd.
There were so many wow moments at this wedding that the photographer, Michael Briggs, really had his work cut out for him keeping up. Somehow Michael knew just where to be and when so that all the fun, love and laughter were captured. Stunning group shots as well as candid photographs during the ceremony and reception will be amazing keepsakes for the couple. A fabulous job by a creative genius.
