Performing as Tegan and Clay’s Surprise Wedding DJ Eastern Melbourne was an unforgettable event – a magnificent wedding for a lovely couple!
The surprise wedding took place at Middleman Function Centre in Scoresby and being part of it as their Eastern Melbourne Wedding DJ was a true privilege. Watching the guests’ faces as this huge revelation unfolded was awesome!
It’s amazing that Tegan and Clay were able to keep it quiet during the planning process, as everything was absolutely incredible. From the wedding planning by Weddings by E and wedding hire by Glam Theory, to photography by Hazel Louise Photography and videography by Evertale Films, the whole affair was spectacular. Their showstopping wedding cake was created by a friend – what a great friend to have on your side!

Tegan looked beautiful in her Grace Loves Lace gown, with Hair by Roxanne and Georgia Ellyse Beauty finishing her look. Her bouquet and the floral arrangements were supplied by Peach and Petals.
The guests thought they were attending an engagement party, but once Clay walked down the aisle, followed soon by Tegan, the reality kicked in! Wonderful celebrant Love Leah stepped up to help the couple tie the knot.
It was a relaxed wedding ceremony and reception, with a delicious cocktail-style menu and plenty of music and dancing.
Tegan and Clay chose Matt Jefferies Entertainment for their surprise wedding DJ in Eastern Melbourne, and we were more than happy to help them create their dream wedding entertainment package. Meeting with them before the wedding, we planned out the types of music they wanted, as well as the flow and feel of the reception. The result was a huge amount of celebrating, complete with Conga line and lots of dancing. Music included songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, Top 40, as well as R&B hits.
